    Healthy ways to lose weight

    Losing weight might seem like an impossible task but with some dos and don’ts you can reach your target weight quite easily.Here are some things you should remember when you are trying to lose weight.

    • Set realistic goals. You should allow your body to take its own time to lose weight. Remember that you can only lose upto 3 kgs in a month and not more than that.
    • Do not follow crash diets and starve yourself. Make changes in your diet that you can stick to for atleast a year.
    •  Have  a continuous physical exercise regimen that you can follow for atleast a year or two. Initially you can start off with half an hour of physical activity and then increase it upto an hour. Whatever you do make sure that you are not pushing yourself too hard.
    • Drink plenty of water as it helps you flush out all the wastes from your body and helps in avoiding the dried up look that you might get with all the exercise and diet.
    • Try to eat more number of meals everyday so that you can eat less each time.
    • Avoid eating outside whenever you can as fast foods and restaurant foods are high in calories and it is likely that you will end up eating more than you usually eat.
    • Avoid sodas as they are known to be highly calorific apart from being unhealthy. They can be replaced with diet sodas.
    • Do not use weight loss pills at any cost as they have really harmful side effects like dependency, irritability, and insomnia. Also when you stop using them it is likely that you will put on a lot more weight than you lost using the pills.
