Easiest Ways to Get Rid of Wrinkles

Wrinkles are inherently a part of life; as we age, our skin gets noticeably thinner.  Also, we tend to abuse our bodies in such a way that wrinkles can appear at age 30, or even earlier.  You could be the healthiest person in the world, not smoke, not drink, etc. but wrinkles will still happen.  There are ways to stop the advance of wrinkles so that you can look younger, longer.

First of all, if you are smoking, stop!  Skin does get thinner as we age but smoking thins the skin further and faster.  If you stop now, maybe some of the damage can be dealt with and reversed.  Smoking is not the number one cause of wrinkles, though, its sun damage.  Sun damage happens at any time during the day, whether it's cloudy or not.  A good piece of advice to help from advancing skin damage further is to wear sunscreen on your face, neck and HANDS every single day.

One of the best ways to get rid of wrinkles is to introduce antioxidants into your diet.  Antioxidants like vitamins C and E, green tea and coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) are used best together to help to prevent free radicals, which age the skin.  Free radicals are unstable oxygen molecules that come from stress, pollution and the sun.

Microdermabrasion and alpha-hydroxy acids are good for helping the advancing problems of wrinkles.  It is recommended though that the use of products that contain either of these two ingredients be started in the mid-30s to maximize results.  Don't use both, though.  AHAs are lactic or glycolic acid that increase the collagen in damaged, especially sun damaged skin.  They also reduce pore size.  Microdermabrasion gets rid of dead skin and softens fine lines.

Usually, the fastest aging area on the face is around the eyes; this is because the skin around the eyes is prone to developing crow's feet, under-eye bags and dark circles; which are caused by the extra-thin skin around the eyes.  To take on, and win against, crow's feet, use a wrinkle reducer that hydrates and contains retinoid.  A skin-tightener for under the eyes is best to fight bags; one with retinol or hyaluronic acid works great.  Getting rid of dark circles is easy if you use a vitamin K-based eye product.  Creams with pentapeptides in them are good for thickening skin.  In fact, under-eye circles are not caused by lack of sleep.  According to doctors, dark circles are caused by genetics.
